The big tobacco tax hike passed the Arkansas House of Representatives today by a whisker, with 75 House worthies giving it the thumbs up. Here’s the vote count by rep. The bill is expected to sail through the Senate, so ha ha, you’re screwed, smokers. Not me though, because I actually don’t smoke, and anyway this is just the big break I’ve been looking for to get my bootleg cigarette business off the ground.
