Brummett: No Reed Challenge to Lincoln

Columnist John Brummett reports that Arkansas Farm Bureau honcho Stanley Reed will NOT challenge Sen. Blanche Lincoln in the 2010 Senate race, as a bunch of terrible gossips and bloggers tried to suggest last week. If you want my opinion, David Sanders, Lance Turner and Max Brantley should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for irresponsibly mongering this totally unverified rumor.

For shame, boys. For shame. I certainly hope you’ve learned your collective lesson.
