Word about town is that talks are in progress to bring GOP VP candidate Gov. Sarah Palin to Arkansas to raise money and rally the GOP troops in the coming weeks. (First report I heard was “in October,” but date is thus far indeterminate.)
While it’s nice to know that they’re thinking of us, am I alone in wondering if the ticket’s time wouldn’t be better focused on visits to battleground states—not a state like Arkansas, whose six electoral votes are a lock for McCain/Palin? (That’s right, Blake Rutherford, I said it: “a lock”!). I suppose it depends on how much money they’re talking about raising. Developing….
